Bjärton "Mini model"

Bjärton was a Swedish quality guitar brand that was connected with the more famous Hagström guitars. Bjärton acoustic guitars were exported by Hagström and they had Hagström logo on them. So if you have a Hagström acoustic it most likely made by Bjärton in Bjärnum factory in Sweden. (In some cases guitars were also made by Finish Landola factory). Hagströms absolut moment of glory was when Elvis was playing Hagström guitar in his comeback TV concert 1968. Now I did nicely find a connection between the King and my little guitar ;-)

My Bjärton is a small model Minor? from the late 50's or mid 60's . There is no records available about the Bjärton serial numbers, so it is impossible to date the Bjärton guitars. This is a rare model, most of these guitars have been maybe demolished by Swedish children when they have been playing rock stars in the 60's and 70's. The guitar is in full original condition and the back side of the guitar is like new. This guitar has a very thin solid spruce top and it sound absolutely wonderful, very crispy nice treble end and just enough bass . The sound is not at all boomy like normally in this size of old guitars. Guitar weights very little and you can easily hold it with two fingers. The size is more like children, but after you pick some chords you find out fast that this is real players instrument , excellent for finger picking Blues.
