1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard

Bought new in February 1979 for Dollar462 (less case) at Acton Music in Acton, MA. Wine Red. Replaced tuners with Schallers, pickups are Seymour Duncan JB (neck), '59 (bridge). Bridge and tailpiece are TonePros replacements. Frets are original. Installed push/pull volume pots to split colis on pickups and small switch to reverse phase of both pickups.

Certainly not Gibsons best years of manufacturing (made in Nashville) but a good guitar that has served me well through many bands since high school, college and after.
